Bot Settings

This guide will walk you through essential settings and performance adjustments in the Bot Builder application

Go to beta.getsignals.ai

1. Log in to Signals

First, log in to your Signals account and navigate to "Engagement" in the left sidebar. Go to the "Chatbots" tab.

2. Click "Settings"

Select a bot whose settings you want to edit, then click on the "Settings" tab.

3. Select prompt size

There are 3 options for chatbot prompt size.

4. Mini Prompt

Mini Prompt (this is the default size for mobile visitors because it's the least intrusive on a smaller screen)

5. Large Pop-up

This is the default size for desktop.

6. Full Chat

This is the full chat option. There is also an additional option, the "no pop-up," where only the chat prompt icon is shown.

7. Bot activation frequency

You can also change bot activation frequency and have the bot fire on every matching page load, one time per session (30 minutes), or only once per visitor.

8. Bot Performance

Within the bot builder, the performance tab provides insights into key metrics for that specific chatbot over time.

9. Select date range

Select a date range to view metrics for that time frame.

10. Bot Performance

You can also find bot performance metrics by clicking on "Engagement," then "Performance" near the top left of the page.
