Customizing chatbot appearance

  1. Navigate to Appearance, under Settings > Chat Settings > Chat Settings
  1. Update the chatbot images, colors, name, and size
    1. Check the preview on the right side of the screen as you edit
  2. Remember to save your changes!

Best Practices

Chatbot Name and Icon

Keep in mind that this will be the name and icon that shows for automated bot messages. Choose a name and image that reflects the automated nature of the conversation. That way, when a live chat agent joins the chat, their name and image can replace the automation and the site visitor will know that they're talking to a real human.

Prompt Icon and Color

Sync with your design team to ensure the bot integrates seamlessly with the branding of the website. People are more likely to engage with a chat that looks like your brand!
