Customizing chatbot appearance
- Navigate to Appearance, under Settings > Chat Settings > Chat Settings
- Update the chatbot images, colors, name, and size
- Check the preview on the right side of the screen as you edit
- Remember to save your changes!
Best Practices
Chatbot Name and Icon
Keep in mind that this will be the name and icon that shows for automated bot messages. Choose a name and image that reflects the automated nature of the conversation. That way, when a live chat agent joins the chat, their name and image can replace the automation and the site visitor will know that they're talking to a real human.
Prompt Icon and Color
Sync with your design team to ensure the bot integrates seamlessly with the branding of the website. People are more likely to engage with a chat that looks like your brand!
