Setting up ICP

This guide will walk you through setting up your ICP in Signals.

Go to app.chatfunnels.com

1. Go to "ICP"

Navigate to "Accounts" in the left sidebar, then go to the "ICP" tab. If you have not yet integrated with a supported CRM, you will be prompted to do so. An integrated CRM is not required however, so you can also opt to "Set up ICP without a CRM"

2. Click to Edit

If you have not yet integrated with a supported CRM, you will be prompted to do so. An integrated CRM is not required however, so you can also opt to "Set up ICP without a CRM." If using a CRM, select all CRM account types in the Customers dropdown menu which represent customers. The system will scrape your CRM to find the industries, company sizes, annual revenue bands, and locations most common among your customers. If not using a CRM, you'll have to input these manually. In either case, the system will then produce an ICP segment based on the attributes of accounts you have already successfully sold.

3. Configure match criteria

You can also determine how many criteria (i.e. industry, location, technologies, etc.) that your prospects must match before being labelled as ICP.

4. Add "Excluded Accounts" as needed

Add individual accounts from the "Excluded Accounts" list to refine the ICP manually.
