Setting up ICP

To set up your ICP, navigate to the Accounts section, then the ICP tab (fourth from the left).

Here, if you have not yet integrated with a supported CRM, you will be prompted to do so. An integrated CRM is not required however, so you can also opt to "Set up ICP without a CRM"

  1. Click "Set up ICP" or "Set up ICP without a CRM"
  2. If using a CRM,
    1. select all CRM account types in the Customers dropdown menu which represent customers. The system will scrape your CRM to find the industries, company sizes, annual revenue bands, and locations most common among your customers.
    2. You can optionally check the box to include closed-lost opportunities in this analysis.
    3. Click "Run Analysis"
  3. If not using a CRM, set the dynamic criteria to determine your ICP
  4. If using a CRM, the system will produce an ICP segment based on the attributes of accounts you have already successfully sold.
  5. Edit any of the criteria, or add individual accounts from the "Excluded Accounts" list to refine the ICP manually.
