Mapping Custom Fields to the CRM

Follow this 3-step process to automatically map custom fields from Signals to the CRM.

Go to app.getsignals.ai

1. Click "Contact Custom Fields"

Click on "Contacts" in the left sidebar, then click on the "Contact Custom Fields" tab.
Click 'Contact Custom Fields'

2. Click here

Create a custom field using the "Add Custom Field" button in the upper-right corner of the page. Fill out your custom field details in the subsequence pop-up modal.

3. Use Case: Question Skill

Use bot skills to automatically fill these fields through chat. For example, you can map response to contact attribute within a Question skill to populate your custom field with a visitor's answer to a question.

4. Use Case: Conversation Goal

You can also set contact attribute within a Conversation Goal skill to map hidden fields to the CRM.

5. Map to CRM

Now, map your custom fields to your CRM in the integrations page. To get here, click on your Profile in the bottom-left corner, then go to "Integrations." Once you're in the CRM tab, navigate to "Leads" and map your fields from there.
